Youbetcha! And I have this now as a gadget on the top right of my blog...just above the wecome post...so you can see the local weather from here on out.....and of course, that's what really matters here, yes? The weather......

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog with the weird name that if you don't know me, makes no sense. However, there was a time when I dreamed of moving to Norway, where I have a cousin who emigrated there from Poland over 20 years ago. I visited for 9 weeks straight, after having been on short visits over the past 13 years, with the intention of emigrating myself. However, due to so very many factors, it appears that I will continue visiting and making the U.S. my "home". I am learning that it is sometimes necessary to make new what seems old and tired by looking at it from a new angle, or at least transforming observations into words on a page, hopefully with some humor and not too much frustration or anger. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail. But always, I think it's a fun read, and I suppose my new goal is rediscover this country in which I live, to see things with my new eyes after having lived in another country for awhile.
